I used an electric bodyfat percentage monitor yesterday and it said I was around 24% bodyfat which is very weird, is that unhealthy? I'm pretty athletic and have "abs" and stuff and my arms are pretty vascular so I'm surprised it's that high but would it help me athletically to slim down to like 8-10% I'm weighing 183 as of today and my lifts aren't terrible for my weight I don't like 200 lb benchpress 290 lb squat 395 lb deadlift plus I won't have access to weights so do you think I should cut down to 150-155 pounds or so I think it might help me athletically, speed, muscular power, even benefits in endurance, what do you reckon?

Definitely start to lose some fat. However if you have visible abs, you are NOT 24% BF. Can you take a picture?

im afraid, i think I'm consuming to much protein powder a day, i do 1 scoop in the morning, 1 during workout, 2 scoops post workout, and then 1 casein for bed, now I'm not sure but sometimes when i pee, my stomach hurts on both sides, not an excruciating pain or anything like that, more like a cramp. Could this be leading up to kidney stones and or actual kidney stones? how much protein powder would you say is a safe bet a day? Ive heard mixed things, some people say if i consume 1 gallon of water a day i should be fine is this true? also I'm going to add in creatine so how bad would this be ?

I can probably tomorrow, my cell phone is dead and I can't find it.
If I have a calorie deficit and I'm losing fat can I have a calorie deficit on the days I have left to lift? I still want to get stronger is that possible on a calorie deficit, if it's not it's okay, what should be the macros for that? I have a pretty active lifestyle if that matters for different macros and stuff.

hey raynor what would you say is the recommended daily dose of fish oil?

I've heard 5 grams/day is the minimum. which translate to about 15 capsule/day.

That is totally opposite what needs to be done.

Post workout, you SHOULD take antioxidants in order to help kill free-radicals that tend to form excessively during workouts.

Too much protein in general can be harmful to the kidneys.

First of all, make sure you're drinking enough water. 1-1.5 gals a day!!!

Secondly, make sure that your protein intake is around 1-1.5g per pound of total bodyweight during bulking, and approx 1g per pound of LEAN bodyweight during cutting.

The best way to lose fat, PERIOD, is to have a calorie deficit every single day. You can bulk up and get stronger later, but right now lets focus you on cutting the fat.

So, with that in mind, lets go for around 40/30/30 for macros (protein/carbs/fat)
