no i agree that lats will function in humeral extension. i wouldnt say the recruitment is huge in the decline bench but it depends at what angle you're pressing (lat recruitment becoming greater as you decline further)
when i made that first comment i thought bobmarley or balla had said that lats were targeted more in incline bench for some reason. i was just coming off a midnight shift and was tired as fuck + making food lol.
in something like this i think a lot of the load is still on the pec major
