Well as I'm 16, I barely knew what this was, and I'm not sure you can just buy it from walgreens. Thus I would have to talk to my parents, which I'm planning to do.

The cardiologist will give you one to wear for 2-3 days which will monitor your heart function during exercise and other activities that cause you to feel the discomfort you are telling me about.

Curiously, have you had an MRI/CT Scan done yet?

The cardiologist was about four-five months ago, but the pain was ehh so I made a mistake and didn't say anything, because I didn't think about it.

I had an ecocardiograph done, and was confirmed I DID have a heart murmur, which was small and I would grow out of, but it hasn't ever hurt like this.

how would eating at 2500 calories on workout days (5 workout days , 2 off days) , and then eating at 2000 on my off days yield muscle / mass gain ? I'm trying to do the lean bulk u suggested 2500 on, 2000 off, but how exactly would that be gaining weight ?? wouldn't i need to be at a more high calorie count??

Raynor,

Do you have any recommended foods, supplements, vitamins, etc, that would help raise my blood pressure in a safe manner (aside from salt, caffeine, and ginseng)? I'm interested in knowing my options as far as short-term and long-term effects.

The key to being lean and muscular is not elimination of all carbs unless you want to go on a cutting cycle in cyclical keto style. Other than that, you need to keep the carbs somewhat lower than protein, but certainly not eliminated all together. I would advise staying away from fast acting carbs such as sugar.

You need to be aware that in order for you to lose body fat, you will need to have a calorie deficit each day. You have a choice, cut down body fat and maintain muscle volume, or increase muscle volume while gaining a little bit of fat. You have to alternate these two in order to have maximum gains. Which do you want to do right now?

This I guess:

cut down body fat and maintain muscle volume

A friend of mine claims that ( as I have already written) avoiding carbohydrates is the main key.
He alleges that eating salami sticks and cabanossis (and so on) does not affect your body. Which implies that you will not become fat and thus increases your body fat losing.
Salami sticks and so on contains ALOT of fats but still has no carbohydrates at all. According to the "Atkins Diet" you will lose weight by COMPLETELY avoiding carbohydrates, this means fat is irrelevant for this diet ( losing weight)

I personally doubt this, though.

I would go back to the cardiologist immediately and refrain from all types of cardiovascular exercise until then.

That is a very very very lean bulk. I suggested that to you because of your bf%.

You will gain slowly, and possibly even lose fat in the process.

Before we go further, why do you want to increase your blood pressure?

Your friend is misinformed. Eating only protein and fat will put your body into ketosis which will use fat cells as energy instead of stored glycogen. This rapidly allows your body to lose fat, especially when you are not eating or during lengthy fasts (such as the time between your last meal of the day, you going to sleep, and then the first meal of the next day). However, CALORIES STILL MUST BE COUNTED!!! If you eat 3,000 calories of fat and protein and only burn 2,500 calories that day, you are gaining 500 calories in surplus. Your body will start to store fat shortly after utilizing all surplus macros where needed.

Cyclical keto when done properly is zero carbs, high protein and high fat. It also has CONTROLLED calories and can be used effectively to burn fat and spare muscle. Here is my CKD guide:

1 - how long should i be doing this routine for, before switching it up? does it matter?

2 - when should i be increasing the amount of weight i do? for the power days and the hypertrophy days.
