thanks for the nice words.

That might be a bit excessive in the muscle gain area. Remember, 10 lbs of lean gains per year is generally what you can expect in your 2nd-4th years of lifting.

edit:

you will definitely lose around 1/2-3/4 lb of fat per week though.

Thanks again, I'm thinking of starting a creatine cycle again, would you or would you not recommend it because I'm doing a clean bulk, do you honestly think it helps? I noticed some minor gains in strength in the past but it might be the placebo effect. Also with Creatine Monohydrate, mine is the GNC kind and doesn't disolve, I heard it needs to disove for it to work right, is this true because it takes me around 10 minutes to take 5 g of creatine heating the water to make it disolve and then cooling it again so it's drinkable lol.

Right my mistake.
My routine is looking like a 5x5 mon tues thurs fri (hitting all 4 major compounds) with fasted cardio(light) on 2-3 of my off days.

Any modifications or suggestions on this?

sound be fine the way it is, just listen to your body. If you feel under nourised on workout days, you probably need to eat a bit more. If you feel fat loss as stalled, try less calories on the non-workout days, and so forth.

I would advise kre alkalyn capsules instead of plain creatine monohydrate. They are fairly inexpensive and easier to take. The plain GNC creatine is probably not very good quality.

hey ray,

what do you think about me adding an ab day into your 5x5 plan?

im cutting in about a month and a half and i really want to get dem abs poppin but my gym has very limited weighted ab stuff so i usually just end up doing ~10 sets of weighted decline and leg raises a week at the end of some of my workouts but i dont think its enough...

anything you recommend to add to that or weighted exercises i can do?

So... my co-workers invited me out yesterday.... I ended up having like 3-4 beers and 2-3 shots, at 7am we made our way to a coney island and I had a huge breakfast with some hashbrowns :*(

Is this the death of me? anything I should do to get back on track

In regards to this, I am coming up on my second week on your anabolic diet....

Since I messed up last week for one day, should I continue on and do my carb load this weekend? Or what

And do you know any cheaper personal trainer certification besides NASM? It is a bit pricey for me

And finally, my girlfriend is looking for a cleansing diet, and was looking into http://www.livestrong.com/article/24920-5day-body-detox-plan/

Is this good, or do you have one you prefer over it?

I started at around 169 pounds and now i'm at 161

Not much change in the mirror, but I do fit perfectly into a pair of pants that I bought that were wayyy to tight before.

been about 2 weeks and 2 days. How's my progress and considering the waist size reduction, is it safe to say i'm losing weight?

Day 1- Chest + Bicep + Abs + 20m of light cardio

Day 2- Cardio

Day 3- Back + Tricep + Abs + 20m of light cardio

Day 4- Cardio

Day 5- Shoulders + Legs + Abs + 20 of light cardio

Day 6- Cardio
