Think you jumped it :)

You dont need to be in keto to lose fat. Your above diet looks clean and good for a low carb non-keto cut.

There are no classes offered at college that prepare you for being a trainer other than anatomy/physiology and exercise science.

I would recommend you find some NASM Study Guides online to help you with getting your training cert.

In regards to this, I was interested in becoming a personal trainer this summer. What programs would you recommend, and how much $ does it typically cost?

I've heard it said that simply having more muscle burns more calories, but the BMR calculators don't ask for the body fat percentage. is there any truth in that?

it depends on your total BMR as well. If your BMR is 2,000, you burned 900 and took 2,000 in, you're in a deficit and you should be fine for fat loss, but not muscle gain.

Yeah it was like 2030 or so but I met it, I am consuming 2900 calories today and lifted weights, so I am good to go as far as gaining muscle and losing fat? This kind of program will work correct? 3 days a week calorie surplus, lifting weights, 4 days a week calorie deficit losing fat around a 900 calorie deficit as well.

Yes both of those are possibilities. Any stress in your life could be contributing to it. It's basically your subconscious telling you to face your problems rather than internalizing them. Men have a tendency to internalize their problems rather than deal with them emotionally. Women tend to cry and get over things much quicker. Men harbor a lot of negative feelings to appear stronger and more resilient. This is not a product of society, but a product of evolution and survival. To fix the situation, you need to deal with your problems and stressors in a way that brings some kind of closure. In regard to ex's, either cut the ties, become friends, or reconcile things. For graduation and school related activities, I recommend to simply do as much as you can to get ahead rather than behind. Also take extra time from your day to study and thus make things easier for you. If you get behind the 8-ball at school, stress will follow. Also, take some quiet time each day to sit in total silence in a dark (but not pitch black) room. Think quietly to yourself about your accomplishments, and tell yourself that the stress you are facing now is miniscule and will pass soon enough. Look at the positive side of things, and think about all you have to be grateful for in life.

Hope that helps!

To put it simply, you are a god.

Thanks man!

It depends. NASM offers a complete course for getting certified as a personal trainer. That would probably be the best choice. It costs a good amount of money and has continually gone up in price. Expect around $700. There are coupon codes out there for 10% off and more. Here is one in case you need it:
