Hey,

My friend asked me about a training schedule for him, but I'm not sure what to tell him.

Unlike me he has a slow metabolism and wants to lose weight, he has a heavy build. So should he do just cardio or also strength training?

How many days a week cardio/strength would you advise?

Don't need a detailed training program, dont worry ;)

Since drop sets and beyond failure are the best for hypertrophy.. id like to try a drop set training, but i have no idea how to build it.. could anyone help me? I have no idea if i should drop sets compounds or not, etc
1 or 2 dropsets per day?

I'm sure this has been asked many times to you, and I myself may have asked you this before (and I know there's google), but I'd like to hear your opinion:

Beta alanine + creatine both being supplemented daily. Effective? Not a smart idea? Just creatine?

I've never really understood beta alanine, and the argument about beta-alanine rendering creatine less effective seems like it's mainly argued based on forums through broscience arguments.

how often do you recommend incorporating 1 rm's into your 5x5 program?

additionally, how would you recommend it be done? (in terms of percentages working up to it)

If you take Kre Alkalyn and Beta Alanine, there is no problem. However I would NOT recommend taking them together. Instead, I would say take the Kre Alkalyn in the morning and post-workout. (2 pills each time). Take the Beta-A pre-workout or during a laggy point during the day. As long as theres a good 30-60 minutes between the two, there should be no issues whatsoever.
