I prefer mostly beats/music when I workout and minimal lyrics, I find lyrics distract me more and I have more focus with a sick ass beat

my workout ipod consists mostly of just Pretty Lights and Bassnectar

this one has more lyrics than most I listen to but still a nice remix of a popular song:

Not Afraid, by Eminem. Posting that video because it has that song in it + it has some freaky Wade highlights from the NBA

I like listening to Tool when I workout: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHqS93qYIJM
In the 90s I listened to techno when I worked out--and some alternative music (Pearl Jam, OLP, STP, Nirvana etc.) and some metal (Metallica etc.). I don't know how I could stand techno but I managed it. I'll peruse this topic to try to find some moe songs to add to my list. So far so good, added a bunch of songs, so ty :)
