ive been having tender soleus muscles and they act up whenever i run. what can i do to strengthen them or prevent the sore, tight feeling that makes it hard to run without discomfort?

Try deep stretching techniques coupled with heat prior to running. Either a direct heating pad or sauna will help (15 mins approx)

As far as the stretching goes, try these:

RAY, fuck man I feel terrible, body is sore, got a headache, constantly coughing due to itchy throat.  Got any remedies? I got dragonboat practice tomorrow and I would like to be able to make it.

I tried lime'nade, honey with tea, robitussi, bee propolis.  Do any of these actually work?  If not, can you suggest something?

yes...not sure why you'd want to, but it won't hurt.

what do you know about vaporized marijuana and athletic preformance? ( not smoking, vaporizing)

in general, how much healthier is vaporized herbs compared to a water pipe, or papers?

Hey Raynor, I am trying to gain weight. Could you list me supplements in terms of achieving that goal as soon as possible?
Also, could you tell me if they are harmful for my body and whatnot.

Hello.

I can not discuss anything in regard to illegal substances on JSP. This is both against the rules and has many possible legal issues as well.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Assuming you are a hardgainer (person who has a hard time gaining weight)

you want this guide:

Hardgainer Diet and Exercise Guide

The best supplement to assist you with gaining weight would be these two items:

1. Cytosport Cytogainer (weight gainer shakes) - drink at least 2 a day, with at least 1 post-workout
2. NOW! Digestive Enzymes (helps the body absorb nutrients better) - take 1x with every meal

Most of the time you can save your rotator cuffs by changing grips. Try wider or closer, also try NEUTRAL grips (use dumbbells instead of barbells for pushing exercises and make your wrists stay in a neutral position).

Most of the problem with wrists and shoulders is caused by straight bars and/or overextension. When doing military press/shoulders press - stop at the 90 degree angle. Do not let your arms go beyond 90 degrees for ANY pushing exercise (well, just below 90 degrees, so 89 degrees lol).

You can also try some rotator cuff strengthening exercises such as the ones here:
