Unfortunately for a person that has a lot of excess skin from rapid fat loss, there are only TWO avenues.

1. Put on a ton of muscle mass to fill out the existing skin - yes this actually works lol.

2. Surgery if you are not interested in being freakishly big (which also takes quite a while to do).

Let me know which way you'd like to go, and I will help you from there.

You know what, actually I don't know why I said loose skin when I don't think that's what it is. I'm pretty sure it's just still fat, the thing is I can control it sort of haha. I just became worried that I am fat from 250 but now at 175 I'm still fat. If possible I'd like to PM you some pics of my upper body and from there you can see and evaluate what needs to be done. Posting advice here is no problem, but I'd rather not share the pictures with the entire world, let me know if that's ok with you.

Whats sup SKC!, I have a quick question about carb and diet

Im trying to stay fit, how much carbohydrates do you guys usually eat per day and not really get any fat?

It might be vague, but in general for a normal day how much would you eat?

I see that as far as protein goes, most of you guys eat at least 1g per pound. Thanks Im trying to build some muscle

Its so tough eating 4-6 small meals a day, I would eat well for 3 meals (proportion) and I would just blow up the next 3 just eating like crazy

It might be that I'm not eating enough, but eating too much carb is no good correct? Thanks again

I'm about 5'11, 165 pounds trying to lean mass, like your bodyfat % seems very nice

Hello SKC ,

Alright , i just received my Shakeology order of 5 months. My p90x and Insanity workout dvd's. Now what i need is someone who knows what he/she is talking about and put together a 7 day meal plan including my Shakeology drinks in this plan.
It has to be a Monday to Sunday. Here is an idea of what you can work with. I'm 6.4 220 Pounds , I stopped working out around 6 years ago due to work, school etc.. I'm naturally strong all around. I have gained some weight around my stomach area, that's the main thing i want to focus on, and rebuilding all the muscle i had in the past.

I know some of you have told me, why not use the meal plan that comes with p90x.. Well, it's a big book with very complicated meal plans etc. I want something simple put 2gether. Like a 7 day meal plan for the week. Thanks a lot.

Hey!

My aunt has tendinitis in her knee. Any workouts you suggest to strengthen her legs/knees without too much pressure on them? Thanks bud

hey! I was wondering what I should eat those days when I get up at 7 in the morning, go to school and hit the gym at like 6-7. I often eat a salad sandwhich in school 1 hour after I got there and 1-2 hours after I eat my lunch. Im 19 years old, 1,80 tall and I weigh 80kg (sorry for european values xD) Looking to get bigger!! Any help appreciated ^_^

Also, Is drinking 1-2 litres of water a good idea when youre going to the gym every 1-2'd day?

Hello.

I am very confused with what you are asking me. First of all, what is a "Salad Sandwich"? Secondly, give me a list of literally everything you eat in a normal day and the times you eat it. Thirdly, you need to be drinking AT LEAST 4 liters (1 gallon) of water per day...I recommend more like 6 liters.

Calm down, man. I didn't even notice any attitude, I mean, it wasn't my intention to be that way. My bad, sorry about that.

I admit it, I don't know a lot about health/fitness.

Anyway, my budget is $20 a day for now as a start.

Plus, for a supplement I'm getting either Optimum: Serious Mass or Optimum: Gold Standard 100% Whey (else, whatever you recommend?)

Once again, I'm sorry about all that.

OK - at $20 a day you can definitely do the hardgainer plan I listed...follow that one to the "T" and you should be good to go. You will gain weight rapidly and hopefully not much fat.

For the gainer I recommend CYTOGAINER as the plan mentions. Cytosport Cytogainer is superior.

hey raynor, i'm gonna get a shin splint compressive sleeve. This one to be more specific: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000E5U8W/ref=s9%5Fsimh%5Fgw%5Fp200%5Fd3%5Fg200%5Fi1?pf%5Frd%5Fm=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf%5Frd%5Fs=center-2&pf%5Frd%5Fr=05CEAE2Y2XTC1C0J8PYJ&pf%5Frd%5Ft=101&pf%5Frd%5Fp=470938631&pf%5Frd%5Fi=507846

I measured my lower leg, and the biggest part is a little under 15 inches in circumference. I should get the medium to get the best result? Or the small? How tight should the sleeve be to be the most effective?

Medium for sure. They are designed to get really tight as it is.

5'11 and 165 lbs depending on your muscularity and BF% - your carbs don't have to be THAT low.

Assume your BMR (without exercise) is around 2,000 cals a day. You will need 1.5g / lb of bodyweight for protein. So that means 250g protein per day which = 1,000 calories. You also need about 60g of fat per day (with at least 30g from unsaturated sources) That's another 540 calories. So between the fat and protein you have 1,540 cals which leaves you 460 cals which is 115 grams of carbs. HOWEVER you are obviously burning up more than 2,000 cals a day especially if you are somewhat active and working out. If you are doing 1 hour of INTENSE activity per day, add another 500 cals to the diet. All 500 cals should be from carbs if you're already hitting the 1.5g / lb of protein. You can also add a little fat...but I'd try to keep it around 60-80g total.

So basically carbs are the filler. You need at least 115g of carbs per day....but most likely much more on workout days, and even closer to 150g on non-workout days.

As for the type of carbs, strive to get fiberous and slow digesting carbs like Whole Grains, Sweet potatoes, Pasta, veggies, brown rice, oats, etc.
