Noo, not da crayfish. :(
I used to catch these with my hands as a kid, in a stream searching under rocks etc.
As well as loaches and something we called 'bullheads', IDK if that's the actual name of them.
A 'crayfish plague' in recent years wiped them out, looks like it's now a childhood memory for me. :(

i have gone to him. but i know i count my cals right...i weigh everything and count everything i eat. i dont "guess", everything is measured and i make it myself

Because you've been doing it good? Don't freak out lol it's only been a month, it take several months to cut decently. Keep at it.
