Why do you keep pontificating this shit about "you need to do cardio". It's totally not necessary lol. I haven't done any cardio in my one month of cutting so far and I'm down ~12lbs.

Just multiplyyour BMR by the appropriate activity factor. Most likely x1.375 for training days. That will take care of the exercise.

hes saying hes eating under maintenance but not losing any weight

eat loss or move more, personally i prefer moving more. its his call

if what hes done hasnt worked (hasnt done any cardio), then why doesnt he try something else like doing cardio?

That's actually pretty decent progress especially if you're still getting stronger

Slower cut will be better since you'll maintain more muscle plus sticking with 5/3/1 will keep getting your strength up

Just make sure your diet is in check and you'll be straight

If anything add some HIIT

my point is i have done that, ate at those cals, and simply nothing happens lol. according to lightman i had to "reset" or anchor or something and reset at 2500 cals. i did that and maybe gained a lb or two. im gonna try lowering it again now. im definitely making it more complicated than it has to, im just gonna keep eating at my bmr x1.375 for training days and take 20% off that and eat at that. if i dont see anything, im gonna lower it 100 after a 2 weeks

u actually notice a difference? i dont see shit lol

in terms of strength:

250x8--->285x5 bench

285x6--->320x6 deadlift

135x5--->155x5 ohp

155x5--->185x8 squat (really happy this is going up quick since it obviously sucks)

this is about 7.5 weeks on the 5/3/1 program so far

edit: one more thing, lightman. how come everyone claims 2100 calories is "too low" or "starving myself" around here.

my bmr (1890) multipled by 1.375 is ~2600. deduct 500, and im at 2100. so how is that too low?
