Also i would want big calfs pretty much just get cut? I guess idk im a freshman so I would rather have you pm me so we could talk more about it?

edit:

However, if you REALLY want to make some progress I would advise purchasing home gym equipment and/or getting a gym membership. It's really the only effective way to achieve your goals in a timely fashion and with optimal efficiency.

Being able to feel my abs..under a layer of belly fat. I want to start doing some hiit since I have a perfect driveway for sprints, yet I was wondering, since I have never had real cardio training, when/what should I eat/drink, before/during/after the sprints.

Tldr: what do you eat before/during/after hiit?

Edit: I'd be doing first-thing-in-the-morning cardio since classes don't sart til 9:30 most days. Also, I'm 18 y/o, 175lbs

Lookin for what you'd suggest, in regards also to my age/weight.

Ps this is ontop of a pretty lean diet

I want to hit my legs really hard, but I don't know what else to do. From the very beginning, I used in my leg training squats as the cornerstone, followed by deadlifts and lunges, but I haven't ever felt my quads really fucked up (I have with my ass and hams, though).

I wanted to know the pros and cons of the half squat. I've always done a somewhat more than half squat, like to the parallel, although I shouldn't pass beyond the 90º angle, because of both of my knees being fucked up for life lol

I've tried only once to do ATG squats and what I achieved is having to stop training legs for two months due to the fucking pain in my knees.

What else could I do to hit quads really hard? Do you think I should be doing half squats instead? With more weight of course.

Thanks in advance <3

PS: I posted it in a thread of my own, but I didn't seem to get much help, so...

Assuming you are doing HIIT on a morning fast, take in about 10g BCAA prior to the HIIT and plenty of water (20 oz approx). After HIIT, follow up with a protein shake. Continue cutting routine meals as regular throughout the day.

The two best exercises for hitting quads hard would be the leg extension machine and DB lunges. You can also do leg press to a 90 degree angle (but no more than that) to focus hard on the quads.

Thanks :) I already do both of these, I guess it's just a matter of time and better diet with my legs...

You should hit them harder then.

Try to go slower with each rep, heavier, and really squeeze your quads with each rep....especially on leg extensions. Also try to do some breakdowns. That means after your usual 3-5 sets, on the last set, cut the weight in half and do as many reps as you can until failure (with good form)

Alright thank you very much sir. A while ago you suggested 20 minute hiit sessions; do you still suggest that, or more?
