Giving blood ( Heard you can give blood up to 6 times per year)

Is it good or bad ?

If it is good, what does it brings to your body?

Technically bad for your own body, good for those who you are donating it to.

While the effects are generally just your body being forced to work harder to replenish the missing blood (and the weakened immune system that comes with it) - most people report no real problems when donating blood.

If you suffer from high blood pressure, donating blood can actually help reduce the blood pressure. However this is NOT a recommend treatment for hypertension!

Lastly, if you want to donate blood to save people's lives, it's a great idea and should be used as you seek fit. Every 2 months seems a bit much. I recommend no more than 3-4 times a year.

Doesn't have any long-term effects but you might be light-headed directly after donating.

Well first of all, BMI is total BS. Any institution that measures BMI is daft. A pro bodybuilder at 6% BF and extreme muscularity would be considered morbidly obese on any BMI scale. I can't help you with BMI.

As far as cholestrol levels go, eat more unsaturated fats (ie: olive oil, avocados, fish oil, etc) and eat less saturated fats. Try to keep a 2:1 or better ratio of unsaturated fats to saturated fats. Also take in at LEAST 60g of total fat per day.

As far as BF% goes, you simply need to cut in order to work that out. That means take in approx 500-600 cals less than you burn per day (that includes BMR cals + exercise cals).

As far as blood pressure goes - reduce your sodium intake to no more than 2,500 mg per day and also make sure to take in 2x potassium to 1x sodium. If you consume 2,000 mg sodium per day, take 4,000mg potassium. In addition to this, drink at LEAST 1.5 gals of water per day.

that should cover it!

edit:

you also have a good physique so far, keep up the good work!

Thanks!

Depends. It burns around 150-200 calories depending on intensity.

Any abs exercices doable at home that you would recommend? Perhaps with free weights? I'm just looking for a proper routine that will have results sooner or later.
