gotcha. tbh, my weight hasnt budged since uhhh, lets see. since late july/beginning of august, definitely september. been constant at 172 for the most part...even though i ate like complete garbage eating out alot getting too many calories over the summer, especially over winter break and everything, eating applebees/desserts not counting etc, still 172 fuckin pounds...unless its my scale thats fuckin broke...but i've literally been STUCK. i did a bunch of random workouts, now im on 5/3/1. weight seems to not be changing regardless of workout or food intake lol

Start over at 2500kcal. 45/35/20 c/p/f. I have clients at your ballpark stats showing fatloss progress at 3k.

thats fucking ridiculous lmao. i feel like it has to be my workout im doing wrong. something isnt right honestly. unless im completely fucking up my food count, i just dont understand lmao. what kind of workouts are ur clients doing? i ate like shit for a long period or alot of calories, nothing changes in weight/body composition. eating good and finally counting, working out, nothing changing. i have all the patience in the world, but i mean at one point u just have to look back and say what the fuck...im in no "rush" but i mean i was expecting to see a little change especially after counting macros...

it has to be something im doing wrong in my workout lol. maybe i need to go "harder"? idfk, im giving it all i got in the main lifts for 5/3/1, accessories etc

Emitting the same or more energy in respect to your intake is the only explanation.
It might se ridiculous now, but it's preferred over stagnating longer.

Reducing the kcal further will only damage your progress.

i need to rethink what im doing in the gym along with the calories...how can i have a sure way of knowing what im burning in the gym? i feel like bench/deads/ohp/squats plus a few accessory exercises cant be burning a ridiculous amount

edit: what im trying to say is, how can i be sure im burning more than i consume with my workout. i feel my workout isn't intense enough for the amount of calories im taking in (even 2k)

P.S going harder is a bro concept.
I've dealt with subjects who've never done so much as a mile run or a single session in the gym or anywhere else.
