Thanks Raynor.

When I am doing the sprints should I just have the treadmill going at my 'sprint' speed, jump on do it and then jump off and repeat as I can?

No. Instead start up walking on the treadmill for a good 2-3 minutes to warm up....then dial in the sprint speed and take off from a walking start.

Yes those are good as well.

It says do 3 a day and you can gradually increase to 9 a day. I don't really want to get up to 9 a day since that would become very expensive for one lol. But how much should I work my way up to and how do you gradually move up? Or is 3 a day good enough? I don't have any kind of current digestive issues that I'm aware of if that matters.

That depends. I usually recommend cutting when you hit the 15-16% BF range, regardless of weight.

Secondly...

Depends, what are you doing? Bulking or cutting?

As a good rule of thumb, you can train abs every other day on ANY plan.

TLDR: whats the cheapest foods for someone who does not work out?

my brother is very poor working at a grocery store 20-30 hours per week at near min-wage. he's living in the cheapest apt he can with a roomate or else he couldn't afford rent. he's been through debt collectors and all that in the past, and i'm hoping he can avoid that this time. i've given him money before, but he loses incentive to get a better job when he can mooch off me. right now he's eating canned beans + eggs, but he's looking for ways to eat cheaper. his idea right now is 3 packs of ramen (1200 Cal @ 60cents) + multivit (~12 cents per) daily. he's pretty fat so it's ok to lose weight. he doesn't exercise so protein/macros aren't that important i think.

i showed him your 15$/week plan which is designed for people who work out, but he'd rather go with his 5$/week plan to save more money (doesn't need the protein either i think). he's probably gonna be on it for 6 months or so before he finally realises he needs a better job. i dont care if theres short term health concerns since it will just help motivate him to turn his life around. but i dont want him to get long term problems. i'm thinking he can replace the ramen with rice, but that's all i can think of. whats your suggestion?
