No I did not. I worked security jobs when I got out of highschool. Then some customer service. Then I got some online courses to be a personal trainer and did that for a while. Then worked in music. Now I work in gaming.

Ahh just curious if it was something that you had gone to school for or something. Not many ways to land yourself a job like that without a specific degree (at least in Chicago anyways).

I'm cursed with a BSBA degree, where 90% of the advertised jobs are all scam/pyramid scheme type jobs.

Yeah back when I decided to go into the field was '08, was one of the top growing fields. Now all they are are no-pay, free marketing, business-to-business sales jobs. Scams.

I have a job at a college handling student's financial aid and student loans. I handle millions of dollars of loans a quarter, but I get paid absolute shit.

To work in gaming as anything other than coder/programmer, they'll look at your gaming experience/general experience (or test it) more so than your degree. At least here in Montreal. And we've got big stuff like Ubisoft, etc.

Usually 80-98 hours per week myself.
But I work 3 weeks on 2 weeks off so I do get to enjoy myself.
And my wages certainly make it worth while right now atleast, 80-110k.
25 now I should be able to happily retire at 45.
