What do you think of the ergonomics of this fitness tree Raynor: http://eurosportfitness.com/products.php?cat=Strength&scid=10&pid=159

It's on sale for $310 brand new, so I'm very tempted to pick it up. Though I'm not sure about the ergonomics of the whole thing. It has a captain's chair sort of angle, which looks absolutely excellent for weighted raises, but I'm not sure how dips & pullups would be on it.

The alternative is this one, which is double the price, though it has a removable backing, a bottom-piece for raised crunches, and a lifetime warranty: http://www.hoistfitness.com/consumer/equipment/hf-4962.aspx

Hey Raynor, I was wondering.. how come i don't get sore anymore after workouts? my last reps on last sets are til fail and usually a rep or two after that being assisted with a spotter.. is there a reason im not getting muscle pain like i used to when i first started lifting ?

You are getting more experienced. Just start doing MORE at the gym. More weight, more reps, more failures - even try different exercises. You need to push yourself more as time goes on.

well ive only been working out for about 2 months now.. but i never get sore. i was worried im somehow now working out hard enough..

exactly - you need to push yourself more. 2 months is the point at which you start becoming accustomed to your routine

how long should you eat before a workout?  Is it okay to eat a meal immediately before a workout?

I would eat 1-2 hours before a workout - no sooner than that to avoid GI problems when lifting.

The first one you sent me is preferable to the second one. The pad is on the correct angles. Also dips on that would be fine - the handles are straight and good. The pullups also look fine on it - I would go for it if you need this item.

That is fairly normal for certain people - it sounds like acid causing the issue. Have you tried to eat simple carbs rather than drink a sugary beverage?

Raynor, by chance would I be able to private message you a question and get a response?

no well except for bananas. Any other options that might work?

Certainly.

White Rice, White Bread, Fruit, Honey, Corn, Candy, regular potatoes, soda crackers, or sweet cereals.
