First of all, I do not appreciate your condescending tone - nor do I appreciate your vague attempts to "test" my knowledge by asking these questions.

To clarify, when saying "Scapulae" it refers to the Levator Scapulae. Although that would be too difficult for you to understand in simplified terms I'm assuming?

Secondly, why are you attempting to give an anatomy lesson here? I could write paragraphs about the biomechanical muscle configuration and response to the military press - but then again you are not my Anat/physio teacher.

You came to me asking a series of specific questions. I began to answer them (in a rather simplified form for ease of response) before I realized that you probably were writing a paper and could use some resources. Rather than just continue the journey of writing the paper for you, I figured I'd ask what it was for. Apparently now the joke's on me for writing this long reply.

The neat little "Thanks for playing" to end your post only show your further arrogance and lack of basic social concepts. You seem to be suffering from some type of antisocial personality disorder judging by the way in which you posed your questions and structured your sentences. Furthermore, your lack of proper punctuation and grammar show that you were rushing haphazardly to prove a point to satisfy a deep rooted egotistical agenda. If I was a psych major (which for the record I am not), I would be apt to say that you probably have a combination of an inferiority and possibly even an Oedipus complex (which would explain the need for immediate gratification).  If your attempts were to put me on the spot to answer a rather basic series of questions in regards to the musculoskeletal system - you failed miserably. If you bothered to realize that I answer practically dozens of questions in a 24 hour period, you would understand that I am not obliged to answer each question as if I am having a professional discourse in a lecture hall.

If you wanted to have an actual medical discourse, you should have PM'd me, explained who you were or what was your position, and then asked me your question(s).

first off, you were wrong in many terms and explained only 1/3 of what i was asking. your knowledge is generic at best and you seem offended by it. i merely seeked to flush it out.
secondly, you seem too defensive even though you weren't challenged in any way. if anyone has a complex, it's you.
thirdly, i was going to ask above 1st grade questions if you had only managed to get this one right. but it seems med school doesn't care much for real answers, at least where you leave.

i'll leave you to your "thread", i know how sensitive you are about anyone exposing your subpar knowledgable persona here. enjoy giving the same generic advice forever.

I'm sure that they are referring to your ALT and/or AST and/or GGT and/or ALP levels. However a healthy person should be around 8-48 AST, 45-115 ALP, 7-55 ALT, and 9-48 GGT. If you are showing up as having 3,000 U/L (units per liter of blood) of ANY of those enzymes, it could mean several things:

1. Excessive Alcohol Consumption
2. Using Medications such as anti-inflammatory drugs, anti-seizure drugs, cholesterol drugs, or antibiotics.
3. Consumption of supplement such as Kava and Skullcap (there's quite a few but i can't remember the other ones off hand)
4. Fatty Liver Disease
5. Liver Cancer
6. Diabetes
7. Obesity
8. Gallstones
9. Wilson's Disease
10. Mono (epstein barr)
11. Hemochromatosis
12. Liver Tumors
13. Hepatitis
14. HIV/AIDS

Do any of these apply to you? If NONE of them apply, get back to me and we'll go from there.

none of these apply to me, because the doctor said aside from the high levels of the enzymes units, i was perfectly healthy, no hiv, no nothing

I answered only 1/3 of what you were asking for the reason I described in the previous post. The purpose was to find out the reason behind your questioning. Now that I know it was your attempt to "test" my knowledge - I would probably go back and not reply at all. This sticky is not here for individuals such as yourself to attempt to undermine myself. If you were my anatomy and physiology professor, I would consider answering completely, not sparing any detail. Let me remind you, this is JSP. For sake of efficiency, I answer questions quickly and to the point in order to get to everyone. You are no different.

Secondly, I was not wrong in ANY terms. I challenge you 100% on that. Everything I posted, although quick and short, is 100% accurate for the question posed. As what you said before "Oh you said Scapulae - I hope you meant Levator." - In short speak, saying Scapulae is referring to the Levator Scapulae. But you would rather speak with terrible grammar, spelling, and sentence structure - while maintaining 100% perfect medical terminology? What a joke.

Defensive? No. Sick and tired or trolls such as yourself who THINK they know things, but in turn really do not. Your point of existence is merely to try and prove superiority through trickery. This aids in absolutely nothing. I stand by my previous assumptions in regards to your antisocial disorder. Also judging by your profile picture, I'd also say you have no room to talk about anything involving body mechanics.

You are a pathetic excuse for a troll. In all likelihood you probably know very little of body mechanics, anatomy and physiology, and the general musculoskeletal system. Your spelling, grammar, and punctuation are all absolutely disgusting. Did you stop learning the basics in kindergarten? You know nothing of medical school and quite frankly should not bother to offer advise to anyone in regard to anything. University of Miami also happens to be one of the top medical schools in the world.

Go crawl back into your hole little man.

Did the doctor specifically order blood work to check for ALL of those things? It would be worth calling and asking.

How about the supplements and medications? Are you taking any of those? If so, what?

Also, you will need an ultrasound to check for fatty liver and/or tumors.

My advise would be to schedule another appointment and get checked for everything I mentioned (write it down if you have to). Some doctors don't care about the patient, only getting them in and out as quick as possible.

I told him the exact same thing a month ago. The internet really is the last frontier for the socially awkward.

Don't let the haters bring you down Raynor, your presence is greatly appreciated.
