Raynor,

You were definitely right :) I did my chest day today, and my shoulder was acting up a fair bit. Couldn't manage anything more than 95 pounds on a barbell freeweight incline. So I instead switched over to the machine which didn't aggravate my shoulder and did some much heavier incline presses without hurting my shoulder much at all.

Question: I got Powertec (the company that sold me the unit) to make me a custom part that combines the arms so they aren't separate. I basically put it on when I want unified arms, or take it off when I want separate arms. I'm wondering when I would want unified, and when I would want separate... or if separate is just always desirable over unified. I realize that separate = makes sure you don't overwork or underwork one part of your body, but I'm not sure what advantage combined would have.

I would use separate during the press when you are focusing on the total press (for chest and tris) but when you are trying to hit the pecs ONLY, you can use the board inbetween and thus maximize the damage to the pecs

Your lower back has hurt for several weeks??? Has the pain got any better or is it exactly the same?

Have you iced it or anything else?

Is the pain dull and achy? or is it sharp and sporadic? Explain further.

more of a quick sharp pain when i bend over then move around, or when i get up from sitting etc.. it doesnt linger so much only when i actually use my lower back, which is often enough in everyday life.. and yes it has hurt for a couple weeks without any real improvement

Sounds like a pinched nerve. You might need to see a doctor if it's something more serious. You can go to a chiropractor and see what they can do for you. Alternatively you can ice the area for 30 mins on 60 mins off several times a day, keep the area STRETCHED lightly but not worked. Do NOT do any lower back training at all, or anything that puts pressure on it like squats and so forth.

Due to health injury combinations, I have been forced to stop lifting all together, not to mention my fatigue is at an all time high.

My body fat percentage right now is 9-10 %, at 6'2''. Looking to gain 30-40 pounds. Obviously through bulking, just wondering what the time period
would be for this with a strict diet and hard training.

Let me get this right,

You are looking to gain 30-40 lbs, but you are unable to lift anymore because of injuries?

or do you want to know the time frame to gain 30-40 lbs once you resume training in the future?

Not very good.

Look into NOW! Super Omega 3-6-9. It's a superior product for much cheaper.

Currently trying to get bigger (bulking??) for baseball. I'm lifting 5 days a week every week...

I'm eating grilled chicken everyday for dinner except on fridays I cheat a little.

for lunch I always have 1-2 apples, nature valley honey and otes. string cheese, and 2 Peanut butter sandwhiches w/ how grain/wheat bread.

For breakfast I usually have a whole wheat english muffin w/ peanut butter, and who grain or wheat outmeal or instead of outmeal I'll have cracked wheat cereal.

I'm honestly the most picky eater.......

After I lift, I usually do core. Then I'll have my Amplified wheybolic protein (something like that) from GNC. That's all I do for bigger other then have eat my grilled chicken every night.

After I do this for like 2 more months I want to try to cut?? bc I want that 6 pack! or atleast a flatish stomache.

But what would you suggest I do? THANKS!
