i am taking 1 activated charcoal tablet in the morning on empty stomach to lower the symptoms of IBS.. at first for like 5 days it helped alot.. i had no bloating, smelly farts and so on.. now the symptoms are back again.. it's like it isnt helping me anymore.. Anyway my question if I'll still take the charcoal tablet in the morning on empty stomach will this affect my intake of nutrients from solid food and supplements?

sup rayndaddy,

kre alkalyn vs creatine monohydrate

i heard the kre alk is way better, why do people even use mono then? lmk!

and do they only come in tabs? recomend any brands?

also, a buddy of mine let me use some of his Jack3d for a few sessions,

it made me sweat like an absolute mofo. and after my training my towel literally smelt toxic.. not a sweaty smell... but a really strong chemical smell... kind of like chlorine..

What are some good snacks to eat throughout the day? (For gaining weight purposes)

Would beef jerky be good? Protein bars? Cheese Sticks?

It's certainly a start...however - I would certainly like to suggest a few changes.

First of all, save cottage cheese for your bedtime snack...it digestly slowly and has no carbs. Your body needs 80% of your total carb intake in the first few hours upon rising to fuel your day (slow acting carbs - aka complex).

Also try to eat every 2 hours...3 hours MAXIMUM.

Furthermore, 60g of protein in one consumption is too much unless you weigh 300 lbs. 20% of your bodyweight in pounds to grams of protein is the ideal number to hit per meal. Example - 200 lb man would need 40 grams of protein every 2-3 hours for a total of 240 - 320 grams of protein per day with roughly 40 grams per meal.  Any more than this will likely be wasted by the body (or stored as fat) whereas less than this can lead to catabolism of muscle (BAD BAD BAD!).

Heres a sample meal plan for you.

Breakfast - Oatmeal and 3 whole eggs (the only meal you're allowed to have less than your quota of protein and a high dose of carbs)
meal 2 - 30 gram protein shake
meal 3 - tuna fish on a salad
meal 4 - chicken breast and broccoli
meal 5 - 30 gram protein shake
meal 6 - 1 cup cottage cheese and almonds w/ cinnamon (delicious before bedtime)

hope this helps!

going to try this diet plan.
but a few questions.

my protein shake is 27 gram is that suitable?
and any other options for meals 2 and 3?
eating the same thing everyday might get a little old/tiring

Not really. You can still take it. I would see a GI doctor and have them examine you. You might have something CAUSING the IBS that can be treated.

I would also stay away from acidic and complex foods such as Tomatoes, citrus, coffee/tea, red meat, anything spicy, and so forth.

I would recommend taking Scifit Kre Alkalyn 1500 as your creatine. Monohydrate is not as good, but the reason it's still used is mostly because it's cheaper.

As far as Jack3d, I do NOT recommend the use of this product or any other pre-workout supplement other than pure caffeine (from a source such as coffee or GAT Jet Fuel)

All of the above would be good. Also add hard boiled eggs, weight gainer shakes (cytogainer is my favorite), peanut butter + jelly sandwiches, mixed nuts, and so forth.

Yes. You can do dumbbell pullovers, dips, and low cable crossovers.

Yes that protein shake is fine.

For meals 2 and 3 you can replace the chicken or tuna with:

Very Lean beef (hamburger style or a steak), a fish filet (any type of fish), turkey breast, lamb, or pork.
