Yea that's why I dislike it so much, because it's addicting and time-consuming, and yeah social diplomacy, associates you see here and there and keep to a hi-bye basis will get butthurt if you don't add them. I used to spend hours on that shit before I deactivated my account. Besides, I'm a private/paranoid person, I like keeping my business and life to myself instead of posting a status every second telling the world I'm taking a fat shit.

all of what you just said is dependent on your actions. Having a facebook account doesnt require anything from adding unwanted people and updating your status to sharing photographs of your life. Don't hate the game, hate the players.
