Yes it did
I just made some research myself, however, to understand how these works...
Well, here in Spain we have 2 main kind of degrees or graduates, a 3 year one, called Diplomatura, and a 5 year one, called Licenciatura. So right now I'm doing something which for its time span would be between your BA and your masters, but I think that is the equivalent of a BA, actually, since I can do my master and my doctorate when I finish my current degree.
So now that I know it, I'm studying an MA or BA in "Philosophy and Arts"? Philology? It's a little hard to define it in English lol
my studies mainly focus in Literature, linguistic studies, and History, but apart from the compulsory subjects most of the optional subjects cover Philosophy and things alike, so I don't know how to call it. Here in Spain, it's a MA in Philology.
Before taking this degree, I also started Classical Philology (that is, classical cultures' studies and Latin and Ancient Greek), but I quit after two years, that's why I'm still doing my degree in spite of my age. nice man! i started as an english major believe it or not, but i sucked at it so i switched my major to the sciences

and dude i'd be a student for the rest of my life if i could. be surrounded by beautiful and intelligent girls and always learning something new? yes please. sign me up haha. which is why i'm 27 and i'm still a student.
now that i think about it, you're studying linguistics, which if i'm not mistaken is not just the study of speaking, but also of writing. if so, then spending time on an english oriented forum such as this, you're actually doing research! so while the rest of us are wasting time, you're studying
