Thanks :)

lol like 155-160lbs.... arms have gotten SOOO much smaller during this prep they are turning into a weak point.

INBA SUNSHINE STATE CLASSIC

When I checked in friday night and sent my piss off the roster said

Teen: atleast 3 competitors
Novice: 8 competitors

WHAT REALLY SHOWED UP

I was the only teen lol... woohoo 1st place!

Novice: 3 competitors INCLUDING ME (And the other kid is a friend/trainer at my gym lol)

It was obvious that I out sized both competitors height and weight.  I was confident but they both had me beat on conditioning, so I didnt get too confident!

I ended up taken 1st in the novice division too!

I talked to the judges and this is what they told me

J #1 - (who by the way came up to ME after pre-j and asked how old I was and said I look awesome) After the show his comment was " You have a beautiful physique"
J #2 - "Awesome V- Taper, your lats gave you a hands down win.  Tan needs working, but your doing a great job keep it up"
J #3 - "Looked great, I like the mass but try comming in a little leaner"
J #4 - " You obviously had professional help with posing" me - lolz no self taught... "Hard to believe, someone needs to be physically taught how to post like that" me - "youtube brah"

Overall great experiece, walked away with 2 first place trophys!!

Post Competition Binge - Didnt go crazy since last time I was on my knees begging for mercy because my stomach was just too full.  Had ~6 backstage cookies provided by the competition (yea ty :) ) Then went to dennys and had bbq chicken w/ mashed potatoes & corn, few onion rings, and milkshake.  Thats all.  I wanted to save room for some water as I am sooo thirsty!!

I'll probly end the night off like that, I am testing a new "peak" strategy by having my "dirty meal" or "last supper" as the IFBB calls it the night b4 pre-j.. then sleep on it and wake up hard/vascular and hit the stage!

OFFSEASON PLAN!!!!

Its already weird being able to have w/e I want.  Although I am stilll semi full from Dennys so I dont want ne thing :P

I plan on sticking to my ~2 weeks out dieting cals/macros for this week and keeping cardio roughly the same.  (Was 30min HIIT Elliptical PWO - 5x a week)
Now switching it to 10min HIIT elliptical PWO then 20min outside HIIT in the afternoon. (I enjoy outside running + ellipticals hard on my legs)
Eventually will slowly taper the cardio down but for now its remaining to keep fat gains and incase ne weekly binges :D

Routine - Sticking with the normal for next week but after that will be doing a 5x5 / Bench routine that I have put together using multiple other routines.

Focus - Getting strong in the main 4 (bench/squat/deads/military) & frequent HEAVY ab/forearms/calf training. (I fell for that "compounds are good enough" and either im jst not strong enough yet or wat but its a bunch of b.s. and abs need direct work.

Way to go man keep up the solid work thank you, glad to see a fellow jsper do well :) .

Pretty active whole life. Always was a "back yard sports/wrestler" kid

Starting working out at home after the summer of my 9th grade year. 9th grade I was a whopping 103-115lbs

Started seeing some good gains at home but probly came from hitting puberty lolz I got my first gym membership Jan. 2008 and didnt have a clue what to do.

Stuck with it and then joined the weightlifting teem by my junior and senior year. Graduated 2010.

TL;DR ~3.5 yrs I've had a gym membership ~2.5 yrs of training with semi coach help only during season. And only a few months (since march) training with proper diet/nutrition.

So I feel I still will be able to get "beginner" gains not from lifting but from having proper diet/nutriton for the first time in my bulking phase.

Oak you are quite the inspiration...

One of the mates I surf a lot with is 17 years old and was talking to be about how he hates how skinny he is and wishes he could be stronger.

I showed him this thread and he is now very determined to be a bodybuilder. Keep it up man, you're on the right track.
