Serious question? But I will go on the record as saying that p90X is a very effective routine for the average person looking to lose weight. It gets hated on because they advertise it as a lean mass builder and something that will "get you ripped in like 20 days brooo", which is bullshit. Its basically an alternative to cardio, bodyweight exercises will never get you big. So technically it's an effective product, though it is overpriced, unnecessary, and marketing AIDS.

then my cross training 20 min hiit cardio 3 times a week is better?

For sure, thing is, if you are lifting at the same time you'll lose a lot of energy from doing the bodyweight exercises in p90X. In maintaining as much muscle as possible you would be much better off with a muscle group split supplemented with cardio.

p90x is not a bad program because they use weights for cardio exercises, which is great for fat loss. gets your metabolism pretty jacked. The program is pretty tough too, it could whip you up into shape pretty quick.
