Hey,

Well the point is that I have great problems with the leg press where you push the weight up, instead of the horizontal version. I seem to be making no progress and the position you have to get in feels so uncomfortable that I don't feel like it will improve either. (I'm tall, which may be a reason for this). But now I've just switched back to the horizontal leg press machine for a while because of this lack of progress and the uncomfortable use of the machine, but I've been able to use the maximum weight on this old machine for quite some time so it's no solution to the problem or an alternative.

Any tips?

Thanks! :)

Do squats instead. Leg Press is fine, but generally it's not the be-all-end-all of legs training. Squats are much better.

Could be a few things. Unfortunately taking shoulder days off ONLY is not going to help it recover. ANY pushing exercise will continue to inflame the shoulder. You need to be icing it and perhaps taking at least several days off with total rest. You may have a pull, tear, sprain, or strain. Most likely a pull because of the duration.

Yeah I was aware that doing chest could possibly trigger it more, however when I did chest I felt little to no pain in the shoulder. It seems to be pulled and close to healing, just like the ones in my elbow that healed eventually and I lifted light on them. So to lift light or moderately to I feel dis comfort or rest

Or possibly just do back, legs, arms to my shoulder heals and then chest, shoulders, unless I do light?

I still maintain to avoid chest/shoulders for at least a full week, giving the shoulder time to rest. Avoid tricep exercises that engage the shoulder as well...quite possibly avoid triceps all together. Ice the shoulder and let it heal.

No. Peanut butter is not a good source of protein.

You can switch that meal out with:

5-6 oz of lean meat (chicken, turkey, 1 can of tuna, lean roast beef, ham, etc.)
2 slices of whole grain bread, 1 bowl of oatmeal, 1 cup of brown rice, 1 cup of whole grain pasta, or 1 baked regular or sweet potato
1 large serving of veggies (any type)

Is there a problem with jogging while on EC stack? I know sprinting = no go and everyone says walking/ steady state cardio. I don't wanna have a heart attack but I was just wondering if a slower jog was acceptable.
