I believe I have pulled a tendon in my shoulder, I have done proper rest although still sore at times, I am going to train light shoulders this week and see how that goes, I took the last 2 weeks off on shoulder days. I don't feel any pain just tightness and possible inflammed tendon near the middle felt, or possible a pulled muscle? I only feel the tension when i raise my arm up above shoulder level. Thoughts? Could be a few things. Unfortunately taking shoulder days off ONLY is not going to help it recover. ANY pushing exercise will continue to inflame the shoulder. You need to be icing it and perhaps taking at least several days off with total rest. You may have a pull, tear, sprain, or strain. Most likely a pull because of the duration.
