Did you actually see the cut itself?
Is there a possibility that you scraped the bar across your stomach during training which caused the cut?
Or is this too deep for it to have been something like that?
If so, there is a possibility that in the course of doing deadlifts you are putting too much strain on your core and not enough on your back. How is your form? If you are bearing down on your stomach with each rep and squeezing your abs violently, you can actually stretch the skin to the point where it cracks and can tear. However I don't think this is the case here.
Have you ever had bleeding there before?
