Been on a money-'wasting' frenzy lately.

Any recommended preworkout supplements? (Common ones). Particularly something that relies less on caffeine and more on some other ingredient. Has to be available in Canada.

Bought myself two containers of 1MR (should've only gotten one but I got the second one since it may be banned in Canada soon due to Geranium). Bought myself a thing of Razor8. I definitely like Razor8.

This is slightly out of boredom and curiosity trying and comparing various workout preworkout supps. I don't intend to buy anything until I'm on my last container of preworkout supp (which might be 4 months, might be 6 months, might be a year, might be longer). But still I want to keep something in mind. Preworkout reviews are so subjective that I figured I'd like to hear your preference. I usually hear "Jack3d!!!", but I don't have access to it.

Some people say its a steroid, others no not - whats the truth


since you can buy it on bb.com, it must be legal then?

Woke up with a sore throat this morning.. DOnt have any vit c.
green tea + multi? And rest tonight i guess?

Seriously speaking, 99.9% of preworkout supps are just huge amounts of caffeine + ginseng/guarana and other herbs in conjunction with arginine (useless with caffeine) and usually magnesium (laxative effect). In addition they are loaded with artificial sugar which also has a laxative effect.

I highly recommend sticking to either plain black coffee (2-3 cups pre-workout) or GAT Jet Fuel.

I actually just laughed out loud at hearing that some people believe trib is a steroid. I've had people over the years try to tell me creatine is a steroid. I've had people say protein shakes are steroids. It's so funny how uneducated people can be when it comes to supplementation. It's also usually people who look like they've been on the ramen noodle diet for their whole life who say those things.

Anyway, no trib is not a steroid lol. It's an herb and generally its for recomp after steroid use in younger males, and it's for natural test boosting for older males.

tastes delicious...like almond flavored sugar water...oh wait...that's exactly what it is lol.

It's tasty, but nutrition wise it's useless. Post-Show for a fun sugar rush, enjoy it with some epic cereal like cinnamon toast crunch....mmmm

Do all the of the following:

1. Strip your bed sheets, pillowcases, blankets, and comforter/quilt. Wash all of them and dry them before making your bed again.
2. Open the window to your room with the sheets off the bed, put your fan on high, and close the door - leave this for several hours.
3. Get a good air purifier such as the Alen A350 to keep running in your room regularly if you suffer from allergies.
4. For supplementation, stay away from any citrus juices like orange/grapefruit, they will make your throat worse.
5. Try this thing called garlic tea. Boil a medium pot of water with 1 whole head of smashed garlic in it. Add the juice of 2 lemons and 1 tbsp of cayenne pepper. You can also throw 2 green-tea or echinacia-tea bags in the pot as well if it helps you drink it down. The flavor is overwhelming, it destroys you. But the effect is has on your throat is antibacterial and helps you overcome any type of throat infection rapidly.
6. Vitamin D is extremely important, get some if you don't have any - take 5,000 iu a day. (also get yourself some vitamin C, take 5,000 mg a day when sick)
7. Get plenty of sleep!!!
8. Gargle with warm salt water 5-6 times a day when you have the sore throat.
9. Use a neti-pot or sinus squeeze bottle w/ sinucleanse or similar packets to clean out your sinuses and prevent further post nasal drip.
10. Take chloroseptic, listerine, or any other over the counter product for sore throat aid so you can go to sleep and get plenty of rest.
