Well, I have not been doing cardio on keto. Still lose roughly 2-4 lbs a week. Sitting around 205 now. I figured I would save cardio until I absolutely needed it because I don't want to lower my calories too much. So, should I just do cardio? Would it be better to do it now or save it for the plateau?

NO.

Avoid soy milk if you are a male. Soy is an estrogenic compound.

Stick to regular milk

I'd advise to stick to cardio regularly because it boosts your basal metabolism and increases the fat losses progressively.

Ok. I just drank a lot of it though. Plus I just bought a gallon

How will it affect the body over the long term?

bad. return your gallon.

dont drink it any more.

soy is highly inadvisable for mens health.

as far as long term goes...you won't have any problems if you stop now...persistant use CAN result in elevated estrogen levels and all the goodies that go along with that

I don't mean to question you, but where did you get that info? I researched around and it seems like half say its bad for men, the other half say its perfectly okay, since most asian countries eat a lot of soy. Thanks!

lol...

Let's have a lesson.

Soy contains the isoflavone phytoestrogens known as genistein and daidzein. Both of these DO have antioxidant properties, but also aromatize to encourage the production of estrogen in the body (as well as the suppression of testosterone).

Asian cultures eat a lot of soy...how many asian bodybuilders do you see? There definitely is a link to Asian cultures and their diets which explains their generally small size and lack of muscularity compared to european/nordic/american averages. Granted they are much leaner, but who cares about leanness without muscle volume. Also do not forget, soy has been proven to work as an sexual inhibitor. Eat enough soy and you will make your body want sex less. Speaking as a man...this is NOT something you want.

Lastly, men who are prone to gyno will accelerate these effects while taking soy because of the phytoestrogens on board.

Antioxidant? Yes. Antitestosterone? Yes.

I just wanted to hear some reasoning behind it. Thanks for that.
