try monitoring and being aware of your breathing patterns during exercises as well. You may naturally hold breath for reps and can often times cause light headedness.

Weak mind-muscle connection imo. If it was sufficient your head would be so focused on thee gains there would be no room left for non hypertrophy related aches.
