Stop buying cookies.

This.

They won’t tempt you if they’re not there lol. I can’t have cookies or cereal in the house.

Don’t buy it
Get better self control. It’s literally your brain telling your hand to put the food in your own mouth.

It starts with making healthier choices at the grocery store.

If you usually buy five packs of cookies, maybe only get four packs and then substitute the fifth pack with some good fruit.

When you get a craving for some cookies drink a glass of water and eat a piece of fruit. If you accomplish that reward yourself with a couple of cookies.
Once you have no issues finishing the fruit you buy drop down to three bags of cookies and even more fruit. Repeat as needed until you reach desired cookie consumption.

Instead of trying to just stop altogether, if you know you don't have the willpower to do that, start baby stepping into a healthier habit.

EDIT: You don't have to go 0 to 100%. 2% better is STILL BETTER! :)

Slow, steady improvement makes for lasting results.
Don't get discouraged if you mess up. Just keep plugging away and working towards your goal as best you can.

Despite what some folks may tell you, nobody here started out moving huge weight around and having perfect habits. It's just something you get better at with time and practice.

There’s several approaches you can take with this. At the end of the day, If you’re cutting you want to be at a decent deficits/week, if your liver and muscle glycogen storages are empty, and you are at a deficit, you will lose fat. If you eat a pack of cookies, while the storages are empty, it won’t necessarily store as fat if you are still on a daily deficit.

Sure your macros won’t be perfect 1 day a week, but if you need to have an entire pack of cookies one day a week that’s fine, just don’t eat much else throughout the day and be on point for the next 6 days.

I always let myself eat an entire pie of Buffalo chicken pizza one day a week, it’s always before a very heavy chest day with tons of volume. I PR even though I’m cutting and that’s due to the insane carbs I have the day before, I satisfy my craving, get stronger and still end up losing weight because my weekly calories are at a deficit.

All I have that day is the entire pie, it’s around 2500-3000 calories, with over a pound of chicken (I weighed the ingredients of an entire pie one time) sure I’m at a slight surplus for that day after my daily 10K steps and lifting, but at the end of the week I’m still cutting 2lbs.

I hope this approach can help satisfy your craving and keep you on track for your goal, everything comes in balance and moderation. If you completely stop eating your desired craving, your diet won’t last.

3 main tips I would give.

1- Make sure sleep is sufficient and good enough.

2- Eat plenty of protein and fiber as well as enough calories throughout the day.

3- See if eating sugary is related to feelings (i.e. anxiety, boredom, etc).

You should still allow some fun foods to increase adherence. If you're trying to lose weight, as long as you remain below maintenance calories you'll be fine.
