Yea while squatting, a guy tried to push me off balance.

I ended up throwing a 10lbs plate at him and we had a bit of a scrap outside (him going to his car and fucking off cause he didn't want anything to do with me after the plate throw)

Yea looking back on when I was actively doing strongman, the weights were so ridiculous.

I'm so much weaker now, I feel like I'm made of wet toilet paper.

Still making music or nah ?

How much weight did you have on your back and why did he try pushing you?

Your weak is still probably stronger than every person in this forum

Don't remember. 5 plates-ish?

Enough weight that I could've gotten seriously hurt.

540 bench
805 DL
760 Squat

Honestly my DL/Squat needed work still.

I had incredibly strong shoulders tho! I got a 340lbs log press for 3 reps.

So fucking solid man. How much did you weigh when you hit those numbers?

I can only imagine the feeling of hitting those numbers and people idolising you in the gym.

My best is

130kg bench
250 dead
190 squat

At 103kg

And I felt like a god

I weighed around 330lbs when I hit these.

So ratio-wise, nothing too amazing. I still had a lot of work to do to be a contender for the big pros. We're talking nearly a decade ago which was the rise of the Shaw/Savickas rivalry. Aka, I was a little pleb comparatively lol

I never really looked at myself as doing good because I was always comparing myself to better athletes. I guess it's what drove me to get to where I got in the first place.

And honestly your numbers aren't bad at all.

Have lifts that put them in the top 1% of lifters.

"My DL/Squat needed work still"
