If you're not ingesting many carbs you're going to shed water. And it's not like youre going to be able to distinguish that from fat. You'll weigh less and look leaner despite it not being tissue loss
Yes the 1st week its usally water weight thats why some people lose like 5 to 8 pounds
But for someone to lose 20 pounds and up in 30 to 45 days u know that most of it is fat
Body sheds water then fat and when no more fat is available it starts attacking muscles and finally organs
