Same thing happened to me last time I pulled a pec. Coincidentally that was the last time I really lifted consistently lel. Could literally feel and hear something happen in my shoulder / armpit region but managed to finish the last rep. Went downhill from there. Didn’t bruise but the inability to press was there

I was also running smolov jr for bench and on like 275 7x4 and on my 6th set bc gains can never be too fast

You remember how long until you got back to feeling somewhat normal? The pain has been dropping significantly, but I can just tell I'm weeks away from even considering trying to lift any chest/shoulder weight.

Right there with you.

On Tuesday did db ohp and the first or second rep of set one i felt something weird. Continued going because it didn't seem that terrible and figured I just moved a little weird on the first set. Finished my whole shoulder day with it feeling tweaked.

Got home and after sitting in the car it got stiff and couldn't even move my arm with crazy pain. Looked in the mirror and had minor bruising on my trap.

Doesn't help that I'm a PT in an acute rehab and all week I've been dealing with total assist stroke patients and having to stand them and stuff.

I kept thinking it was going to just be a couple weeks bc the pain would go. I’d try to bench lightly and the pain would be back. It was over a month before it fully healed and then I was weak and had to work my way up again (never really did). I’d wait at least a month before trying anything or you could lengthen recovery time
