broke down after 8 days I think. god I was feeling horrible. taking magnesium supps, potassium supps, salting the hell out of everything, including things already heavily salted. drinking lots of water. making coconut oil/butter/almond butter/ tiny bit of cocoa powder (2 net carb per serving) "fat bombs" in addition to all the food I'm eating. no way I was undercalories

figured after 8 days id at least be starting to feel a bit better but I actually felt worse.


anyway 200 carbs of reeses cup, reeses cereal, 2 mandarin oranges, half an apple, n a few gold potatoes down


then I felt guilty and walked 2.5 miles (250-300 cal) and burned 450 calories on the exercise bike in 20 minutes going like a bat out of hell

maybe it wont be hard getting back into it

I felt great on keto tbh, I've always been pretty low energy hard to get out of bed etc. But on keto I felt great, tons of energy, except after the once a week refeed days, felt terrible the day after.

was also taking EC stack tho.

try shit, if it works for you it works for you, if it doesn't then it doesn't.

yeah but people say you need to give it in some cases 4-6 weeks. the theory is that you can enter ketosis quite quickly.. in 2-3 days, but you're not "fat adapted" for much longer. so you can still feel like shit until you are.

but feeling like absolute hell and having no energy for a month is hard to endure. plus with my mental health issues idk if it's worse for me

Really tough to even maintain performance, let alone increase while on keto. But keto 99/100 is for appearances (or digestive sometimes)

It’s like any diet imo.. If you follow it, you get results.

I lost almost 200 lbs after high school on the Keto diet, I have nothing but good things to say about it obviously.
