I mix it with benching and other shoulder exercises and the pump i get in my front delts, bis, and fore arms is great. I dont push it to the 80s or 100s very often, but i do hammers a couple times a week.

I love doing these as i warm up for bench and deadlift, i feel like it wakes up my arms and grip completely.

Ive noticed huge debate over form, and if you saw me do these with 40s or 60s it would look a tad different. But i feel like when you overloading these from time to time it is beneficial. There's usually people who take bad form to a new level and id like to think mine is still within reason

If you don't notice a dropoff on your main lifts or any joint pain and it gives you a pump, keep doing it. When I was lifting in 10th-12th grade it was mostly for aesthetics and I loved me some hammer curls. I never felt like they hindered my other work, but tbh I usually did them after shoulders.

Looking swole though, nice.

This.

You are looking thick, solid, and tight my friend.

yeah because it is those hammer curls and not the steroids or litany of other exercises he does which built that physique

No your not wasting time as for the cheating idk i go a lil ocd on my workouts sometimes so i definitely can't answer that but im 6'1 215lbs and wouldn't even try 80lbs but i do have a 35lbs dumbbell about 9 reps per arm left and right slower motion and no back into it really idk looks good to me arms are big maybe just go down to 55lbs not 30 with how far you have already come? show us some leg workouts?
