Twinkie is disgusting

Yeah I thought it'd be doughier and the icing thicker. Instead, spongey, and icing was fluffy. Not impressed for the calorie count.

But, had to say I've had a Twinkie in my lifetime.

I've seen this happen a hundred times where someone with excess body fat wants to lose the fat and they go on a low carb high fat high protein diet in order to do so. These people usually burn out within a couple of weeks because sustaining this type of diet leaves them in a state of ketosis where they have little to no energy to do the workouts that they initially intended to do. Such people will then give up on themselves and go back to eating their unhealthy original diet which got them overweight in the first place.

Such fools think that carbohydrates are the enemy because they have been dumbed down by an uneducated societal norm which told them so.

If you really want to lose weight I recommend eating a high carb low fat diet which will consist of mostly fruits and vegetables. The fruits will give you plenty of energy to workout and you won't feel like shit all the time from being malnourished or in ketosis like so many fools have tried and failed.

With this said you will need to burn more calories in a day than you consume in order to lose weight... Why not make the calories that you put into your body count by giving you energy, blood flow and glucose? carbohydrates and fiber - Fruits and vegetables are the best for weight loss.

Good points. That's why I say keto diet is the current fad. It's a popular diet that people try for a bit and then ultimately fail at and go back to their old diet.

Yes. That's literally the only thing that matters for weight loss. The types of food don't make a difference as long as you can maintain a deficit. The type of food matters at determining what type of weight you lose though and obviously health reasons. For example you want to eat higher protein (up to 1g/lb) to maintain muscle mass.

is weight loss analogous to fat loss? because I want to have less body fat mainly, weight doesn't matter to me

There are certainly ways to reduce fat while maintaining muscle mass. As dark-soul mentioned you should try to keep your protein intake around 1g/lb of your body weight in order to maintain your muscle and really don't worry that much about your muscles disappearing. A lot of guys will be afraid to do cardio or cut calories because they think they will lose muscle... but muscle mass is much much much harder to burn off than fat. So many times I've seen people who were so scared of losing muscle that they never even tried to burn their fat off and as a result they unsurprisingly REMAINED FAT... Whereas conversely, many people who have had fat and muscle will MAINTAIN their muscle simply by adding cardio and slightly cutting calories and in many cases cutting their protein intake as well. From my own experience I have learned that muscle mass is not a dainty little thing that goes away after you stop eating high protein diets. My diet has shifted to high carb/low fat and I only eat about .1-.3g protein per body pound per day and have maintained most of my muscle mass while SHREDDING the unwanted fat off my body and I barely do strength training though I do at least an hour of cardio every day..

My advice to you is do not let the fear of bro science "changing things up is going to kill your muscle mass!" theories kill your goal of losing fat.

The best ways to lose fat have been mentioned. 1.eat less. 2. exercise more

Brah, you don't need to cut out an entire macronutrient to lose weight...

Just stop eating like horse shit and eat less than you did before and start moving more..
