The human body wasn't exactly built for huge upper traps. Unless you're training them for a certain reason that requires it, there is literally no point. Let's not forget that it makes you look ridiculous in a regular shirt.
If you have large traps and can't go through the full range of motion that the human body is capable of in a squat or can't control your weight, you look like a goon. My statement is pretty accurate.

heavy deads build your traps.. that's legit all I do for mine. Traps are aesthetic as fuck if you're even moderately built otherwise you got a long ass giraffe neck looking like Harry Potter got his wand up your dickhole
I haven't done specific upper trap work in years. You can get upper trap gains from carrying all of your groceries from your car in one trip. Why the fuck would you waste the time in the gym to do that shit?
