the spotter definitely looks under 40; the failing presser could be there, donno. age is a tough thing to figure out. i had some fools thinking i was in hs last year ... i'm 39. i often get confused for an undergrad aged student, and that's interesting, b/c i think i look my age. i think most people my age have just aged too quickly due to crap lifestyle decisions.
im nearly 25 and i also get ID'd all the time, but i look like i could easily be 19 or 20 especially if im clean shaven. i think youre right that people age prematurely these days because they abuse their bodies. i worked at the liquor store two summers ago and ended up ID'ing a few older individuals, mostly just because i would try to determine whether or not i need to ID someone a few people down the line and you dont get quite the level of facial detail that way. i ended up IDing a 40 something year old indian woman who just happened to look like she could pass for maybe 24 or 25, and thats what our liquor board promotes (IDing 25 and under, being suspicious of IDing 30 and under)
