If you plow for someone else's company with someone else's truck they usually pay around $25 and hour. If you plow for someone else's company with your own truck, it's upwards near $60-75/hour. Start your own LLC, shiiiiiiiet. You'll be banking! Take out a personal loan for the initial equipment (zero turn, string trimmer, blower, edger, hedge trimmer, tree trimmer, trailer, etc.).

If you don't mind shift work check out operator positions at refineries. After 5-7 years if you move into MIT that's upwards of 150k depending on the job.

A lot of vocational and community colleges offer transfer programs for these kind of positons right now.

It might be worth taking a few classes on or going to seminars if they're offered. I would say your best bet would be to get hands on exposure and experience.
