Consistency. Eating the exact same amount every day, exact same thing. Lifting the exact same weight, for the same amount of reps everyday. Ain't gonna get anywhere unless you're consistent.

As long as you're not doing something retarded consistently, those walls won't pop up until way later down the road. Also, if you're not at the elite level, hitting walls isn't as big of a concern as you'd think.

Doing everything so you never get good at anything.
Aka doing weightlifting, powerlifting, calisthenics and some bodybuilding

Super sets or go home.. no pain no gain. Run the rack

this mixing it up is pivotal when it comes to gains, don't forget resistance bands. I like to mix in resistance bands every day just for something different to confuse the muscles.

also this, research and ask people that are clearly successful what lifts they recommend and advise against. depends on yourself as well if you have bad knees look into alternatives than squats or things like that are hard on knees.

Yeah mixing it up is extremely important. Especially if your doing the different types of exercises that work completely different areas like plaad said.

dont let anyone ever tell you that full lumbar extension is a safe position for your spine

I'm going to take it a bit further and remind people that any area with a joint when doing extremely heavy lifting that pausing at a full extension is terrible on the joint, you should get a full range of motion but be sure your not pausing at the point that puts pressure on said joint.

Consistency in being sure your exercising with regular intensity and have your diet in check is important. You shouldn't lift the same weight for same reps lol. Gotta progressively overload your body and also mix it up when you plateau.

Sore is bad. The best program is one where you can perform the next day.

holy false.

tips from my 8.5 years in the gym.

consistency is key
form is most important, not how much you lift, but how you lift it.
muscle mind connection is huge
cardio actually does make a positive difference
do exercises that you FEEL hit target muscles, don't do exercises because you saw them on youtube and cant find a way to contract those muscles properly.
if you;re trying to gain, eat anything and everything
if you're trying to cut, fasted HIIT cardio is the best thing you can do
always progress
steroids are fun, but do them properly and research them well
dont ego lift
dont lift heavy compounds without proper warm up
a shitty workout is better than no workout
soreness ISNT always an indicator of a good workout, but for me it was
lift for the pump (unless powerlifting)
