A decent amount.
Your recovery gets way worse, the risk of injury increases, your cortisol levels will increase the following day aswell and it also impairs the immune system.

Iirc driving after ~4 hours of sleep can be compared to driving drunk due to cognition being so much slower.

This.

Just an additional note, but the most important times to sleep are 10PM-2AM; so if you're crammed for time, make sure your sleep covers those hours to give you your best shot at recovery and gains.

Sleep plays a pivotal role in everything in hour lives

6 hours is all you need and you feel rested and can lift accordingly, then so be it

4 hours of sleep is not meant for anyone so
Think they lowered the base sleep per night to like 6-7 hours now as an adult?

Adults should sleep 7 or more hours per night on a regular basis to promote optimal health.
Sleeping less than 7 hours per night on a regular basis is associated with adverse health outcomes, including weight gain and obesity, diabetes, hypertension, heart disease and stroke, depression, and increased risk of death.
Sleeping less than 7 hours per night is also associated with impaired immune function, increased pain, impaired performance, increased errors, and greater risk of accidents.
Sleeping more than 9 hours per night on a regular basis may be appropriate for young adults, individuals recovering from sleep debt, and individuals with illnesses.
For others, it is uncertain whether sleeping more than 9 hours per night is associated with health risk
