yeah, but id have to say theres a very very small percentage of people who involve themselves with that notion and don't fall into the social marketing and social media of this current fitness industry.
i fucking hate it tbh, i remember 6-8 years ago it was non existent and people lifted as a small community etc
was way better back then.
fitness for me started at age 3 when i was dropped into multiple sports and loved them all
i remember ordering the "hulkamania" kit as a kid. that was my 1st big fitness order lol. later it was about lifting in a couple of my neighbour's garages and building my own home gym. so many hours were spent in my hs gym, lifting with a small crew that would put on metal and early alt rock stuff when nobody else seemed to think lifting was important or fun
it's not like that anymore, because everything's infested and tainted, so you just have to block out all the noise as much as you can. having said that, it's not like i don't have my stuff for my business on facebook with multiple daily posts.
