I usually may eat fruit like an apple or banana. I've tried C4, but it doesn't do too much. I've been told caffeine pills, but not sure how much since coffee has no effect on me either usually. Same goes for things like redbull and 5hour energy.
C4 doesn't have much in it that coffee doesn't. It's basically cleverly labeled powdered caffeine. Caffeine is one of the most efficacious stimulants for a preworkout thought. NALT may or may not have an effect, b6 and b12 certainly will give you a lift.
If you're looking for stimulation, a good diet, proper sleep, caffeine, should be enough. ALCAR gets some people jittery. Obviously there's less safe stuff that isn't worth regularly ingesting like 1,3... synephrine... etc.
If you're looking for extra pump, try:
- citrulline malate (get a bag of it) powdercity.com is good
- agmatine sulfate (get a bag of it)
- glycerol powder (hydromax is good too)
- a pre-workout fruit & hydrating well
(you could try something like White Pipes, it has about the right ratios to see if you like the mix)
