Knees out more (so that your leg/shin angle is straight up) and more emphasis on locking out your hips

probably the next thing i'll really start to focus on

Knees out wide, shins straight in both plains, straight up and down and straight in terms of forward and back. knees directly over your ankles. Upright as much as you can.

I'm still learning sumo but these are from tonight. Bout 3 hours ago

Those look clean and you look like you're in a pretty good position, i think i just need to keep working on hip/glute/hamstring mobility so i can make it to that position, i feel like having short arms makes this a lil harder for me, but i think in time with patience i can get in a comfortable position. I think until then I'll keep my deadlifts under 225, kinda seems no reason to even go up to 315 if I'm stressing my back out that much.

I was serious about the soft knees

You don't fully lock out knees/hip drive aka soft knees

M8 has solid form and I like Silent Mike from SuperTraining on YouTube

Short arms just means you have to drop hips lower, try pointing towers further out if you don't have great mobility yet/STRETCH

also, one other thing that hasn't been mentioned. It's better to not use those decagonal plates. If your gym has em, find bumpers. My old gym also had those weights and they're fucking horrid for deadlifting. If the weights don't land directly flat each rep they bounce laterally either toward your shins or away from them which shifts the weight, and that is bad.
