Be nice :P
PPL is fine but it's generally a strength routine for most people.
Aesthetic goals depend on size goals. The bigger you want to be, the less likely it will happen full natty. Or put it this way, if you're surfing below 10-12% body fat at say 5'11" x 190 lbs you're coasting toward the limit. But for aesthetics you'd want to be below the 10% barrier, in which case, unless you're a pure mesomorph and you diet properly, you'll probably run into trouble trying to attain both size and aesthetics. By that guide hitting it at about 175 or even 165 is probably the better bet. Just going by standardized sizes and regular human gym rat results.
You could cut some corners by loading up on sauna time, cardio, tanning, creatine, thermo pre stuff, and some sort of hyp program, maybe gvt. And yeah, you'll want to hit abs, but targeting abs doesn't do a ton for your physique because you can't target fat in the abs that way, and fat in the abs, especially the lower abs, is what crushes a lot of physique dreams. You'd do yourself a 100x better by hitting squats.
There are a ton of ways to get aesthetic and most of them involve being small. That's the easy way. I know some guys with pretty basic ecto builds who rarely lift and just play basketball all the time and they're on the margin of aesthetic anyway.
I hope I didn't offend the aesthetic crowd but it's pretty simple stuff. You can take an average person and turn them aesthetic (not world class, but enough to turn heads at the beach) in 6 months.
So PPL sounds like my best bet?
