Why don't you just ask openly. Curious to what you might be wondering about.

And why are you competing without an adviser???

When I compete in Men's Physique in 2017 I'll get free diet / guidance / training program / pose lessons etc from the gym owner.

When I say free, I mean I still pay the regular membership fee of $60 per month.

i am getting advice but i think its poor advice.
and i want to confirm with someone.

I see. my Cheer coach has a dietary adviser/PT from the US helping him with his diet and he's fucking terrible. My coach is like 300lbs of pure mass and this dietitian guy set him up on a 2000kcal diet with zero fat and 60/40 carb/protein.

Needless to say I took over that job :p

Curious what you're wanting to ask.

Adding my name to the list of curious people. If you post the info you were given (and context), you can read replies here and judge them for yourself. Worst it can do is confuse the shit out of you right before a comp, of course.

Only what I have heard from bodybuilders, I never competed. So, kinda yeah. But I will say right now I've heard different stories. Some of them were big on chromium picolinate around that time. This was mostly late 90s/early2000s bodybuilders telling me this. These days I send any bodybuilders to a guy I know for comp prep. He gets good results for them.

This may be worth a gander: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/drjoe2.htm

Another view: http://www.rxmuscle.com/articles/nutrition/9106-5-common-peak-week-mistakes.html

Another perspective: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/layne-norton-peak-week.html

e: also, do what makes the most sense, not what you see being said most often. lightman usually has pretty accurate views/10.

e2: my gathered view, not saying it is perfect, is that as you carb load you want to err on the side of caution to avoid flattening out. Thus do it slowly. You add water for muscle bellies, but I don't know how much. Enough to fill it in as glycogen stores return. Sodium is required for transport, but again i don't know how much, but I do know that if it's done wrong it can be dangerous. Just common sense stuff.

I understand some of the physiology but contest prep stuff is a different beast. I can try to confirm some of the basics but no comp experience means you'd want to ask liron about the common dos and donts
