3 months doesnt seem like a long period to drop from 26-28% :( im no expert but that seems fast

You're probably right. Guess this will be one big experiment for me (and a life lesson for putting on the weight). I had a terrible practicum that caused me to put on about 20 pounds of fat. I gained 35 or 40 pounds over 3 years, but more than half of that was over 6-9 months.

I'll keep up with posting progress pics every month, and I guess I'll see where I get.

I agree. I never want to carry this much fat on my body again.

I might push my cutting month to start November. I will be bulking for at least all of October though.

i dont see why you wanna bulk you have too much bodyfat already. you only bulk if u wanna add mass but at your bodyfat you wanna cut :P

Yeeee I know. But I looked flat (muscle-wise) as fuck just 5 weeks ago, and I was weak as fuck. I just wouldn't have the motivation to cut if I didn't reclaim some strength first. I realize I could build strength while cutting, but the gains are real right now & I'm enjoying it.

I won't have this fat much longer so oh well, but for now yep I'm squishy. Cutting will come November instead of December I guess.

protein/carb/fat

5 meal a day target, usually breakfast is a little bit larger, total calorie intake 3000

An example of today (most days are similar)...

Morning: 1 cup oats with 1.5 cups 1% milk, 30g whey isolate with 1 cup milk, mixed nuts, flaxseed, some tomato and spinach
Post workout: 1 whole banana, flaxseed, 40g whey isolate, 1.5 cups milk, 2 tablespoons peanut butter, and some blueberries
Dinner: Lean chicken breast, broccoli, sweet potato, a tiny bit of nuts

My next meal will likely be smaller, probably a half chicken breast. My last meal will be casein with some oats and peanut butter. I usually have eggs once every 2-3 days.
