Well the only think questionable would be caloric surplus and bulk timing. The rest is on point.

id never throw a beginner through a strength program.
waste of those beginner gains imo.

a high rep high intensity short rest time hypertrophy program would take full advantage of growing those muscles and shaping them properly.

kids going to be weak as fuck (no offense) let him build some muscle before he has to worry about getting it stronger.
also cut timing is off as well. cutting for anything other than a comp / sports / specific reason is silly to me.

Stabilizers are super important, cant do much without em. Agree with not going straight into strength, at least do one set of hypertrophy, if not even a deload just to get proper form, and into the routine.

Iirc frequency > volume for beginners

Programs like ICF have a high frequency , moderate-high intensity , moderate volume.

Also the argument can be made that getting strong with noob gains can help overall gains. Because being stronger = better base so as when you do do a Hypertrophy based program you could do 10 reps of 100 squats rather than 10 reps of 60 squats .. Which would obviously yield less gainz

im speaking from 8 years of experience,
and watching people come into the gym and blasting hypertrophy vs people coming in with a strength program.

the end result of their physique is night and day, and the strength program guys usually end up with over and under developed muscle everywhere, where as the hypertrophy guys end up with a nice
base of symmetrical muscle and learn faster the muscle mind connection which in my opinion is probably the number 1 difference when it comes to progressing with gains.

idk maybe youve spent more hours in a gym than me, trained more people than me, or witnessed more people start from the bottom and end up at the top than me
although i doubt it.
