I wasn't kidding. Look up all of the different issues that the northern climates are facing compared to the places by the equator.

It's like 80% of western New York is deficient in vitamin D.

Diet and environment.

Well that's because most people don't go out enough and eat like shit lol
Also I'd assume NY is a lot colder so there is not much skin exposed to the sun as opposed to shirtless people near the equator.
Even then too much sun can be bad as it increases the risk of skin cancers. So it's just epidemiology based on the area.

it's the effect of telescopic evolution

there's a great video from a film that illustrates it pretty well let me see if i can find it

interesting video, didn't follow it too well so I might have to watch it again, but a new group that branches out based off needs seemed interesting.

the first half is related to what you said - the second half is an interesting theory, but also painfully optimistic.

That's my point though. People in western New York are extremely deficient in vitamin D and depression/anxiety, schizophrenia, MS, GI inflammation, etc. are much more prevalent here than in places that get a lot more sun.

People aren't getting enough vitamin D in their diet due to poor dieting as the years have gone on, so these disorders are becoming more prevalent.

1. Homosexuality (and the spread of HIV and the lack of spread of children).
2. Increase in autism and psychiatric disorders such as ADD/ADHD.
3. Increase of people with digestive/gut issues.
4. Increased murder rate worldwide it seems.
5. People getting more fat (leads to CAD/neoplasia).
6. Heavy reliance on technology and phones and the media related to it.

Am I the only one noticing this trend?

For #1 it's just more in the open as the others said and is definitely a positive that people can be open about it. As for hiv still being an issue it's unfortunate especially since there's a drug to prevent hiv infection now. Hopefully the vaccine is completed and approved soon. Not sure what you mean by lack of spread of children. I thought the murder rates were lower now than in the past.
